Announcing this seismic shift in Auto Trader's offering, will be our biggest and boldest advertising campaign ever: £15 million worth of TV, radio, online and ambient advertising, and an unforgettable world populated by quirky, memorable characters.
We're also taking the opportunity to give Auto Trader a whole new look, with a revamped logo and eye-catching graphics. We have even improved user navigation, making it easier for people to find their new car – as well as finding all the information that will keep them on the site and exposed to your advertising for longer.
Key facts of the campaign:
- It will be seen by 92% of the UK adult population during the launch burst. Commercials will be aired during a wide range of programme genres – sport, documentary, films, comedy, drama – ensuring a broad demographic spread.
- A heavyweight radio campaign will feature on key national and local stations, reaching one third of all UK consumers.
- Online advertising will reach more than 20 million consumers, driving up to 2 million to the website.
- We'll be blitzing petrol station forecourts, with ads appearing everywhere from shop doors to fuel nozzles.
- 40% of UK drivers will be exposed to the forecourt activity.
