Chrysler continues to invest in Auto Trader for major ad campaign

Auto Trader, the UK’s no 1 motoring website and magazine, has signed another major advertising campaign deal with Chrysler, following successful campaigns on AutoTrader.co.uk in March and May.

Auto Trader is hosting major home page domination, promoting the Chrysler brand, including Dodge, Jeep and Used Approved. The new campaign features synchronised banners and MPUs across the homepage for four weeks, launching in August.

The Daimler Chrysler group was the first UK advertiser to take advantage of Auto Trader’s new prime position MPU and banner on the homepage, which receives over 25 million ad impressions per month.

Daimler Chrysler has continued to invest in Auto Trader since February 2008, where they were the partner for Auto Trader’s new look website launch and has also run Used Approved activity on AutoTrader.co.uk.

David Fineman, Head of Digital at BJK&E, who brokered the deal, commented: “Daimler Chrysler has been very impressed with the success of advertising on Auto Trader. The site continues to deliver excellent results for Chrysler’s home page advertising campaigns, which is why the group continues to invest in advertising on Auto Trader.”

Naomi Lay, Head of Display Advertising at Auto Trader comments: “This is a great reflection of how powerful Auto Trader is for new car manufacturers – users come to Auto Trader looking for a new car - whether that is a brand new car straight from the manufacturer or a used car with two careful owners! Daimler Chrysler’s ongoing commitment is testament to our transition from being a new and used car website to a one-stop-shop, which incorporates the whole world of motoring.”
