Top Marques is relaunched with new look website and magazine
Top Marques, the UK’s leading publication for the buying and selling of prestige vehicles with a minimum price tag of £8,000, is to revamp its website and magazine and relaunch in July 2008, to coincide with its presence alongside Auto Trader at the Motor Show.
Top Marques is redeveloping its website to feature a new, simple homepage layout, which allows for greater ‘browsability’, as well as easier navigation. The website brings together sports and luxury cars, allowing quick and easy access to almost 170,000 prestige car listings.
www.topmarques.co.uk has been overhauled and now includes new and used quick car searches based on postcode; news and reviews on desirable cars; a comprehensive buying and selling guide; a resources link which includes information and contact details for personalised number plates, car services; and a section for users to subscribe to Top Marques magazines, quickly and efficiently.
The new look magazine will now be even easier to search through and includes new enhancements such as a fresh, dynamic front cover, new look inside, easy-to-use contents guide and an improved buying and selling guide. As part of the Top Marques revamp, the logo has also been completely redesigned to reflect the brand’s ethos – ‘don’t dream it, drive it’.
In a recent survey* motorists looking for a prestige vehicle chose Top Marques as the first place to buy it from, with 23% opting for the website and 11% choosing Top Marques magazine. This was followed by going directly to a dealer (franchised – 19% and independent – 6%) and Auto Trader (online – 8% and magazine – 5%). Respondents had a varying budget, as follows:
- Up to £19,999 = 35%
- Up to £24,999 = 23%
- Up to £44,999 = 15%
- Up to £69,999 = 13%
- Up to £99,999 = 5%
- Over £100,000 = 5%
