From holidays to electrical goods; 10 million Auto Trader users spend their money online.

According to a recent survey 55% of autotrader.co.uk users have purchased electrical goods online, whilst 43% buy holidays online. Research carried out in March 2008 sampled 5000 Auto Trader users to shed light on their non-motoring online buying habits.

The research revealed 1 in 5 users spent more than £120 online every month, correlating with industry wide online trends. Two out of three users purchased from online high street stores whilst 65% bought from online auction sites and 56% from large independent websites.
