In March Auto Trader offered a potential audience of 850,000 uniques who were in the market for insurance

A survey of 5000 Auto Trader users has revealed that 60% of users researched insurance and finance online before purchasing and 50% admitted to having bought insurance online in the last 12 months.

Any given month one twelfth of the unique users visiting Auto Trader are in the market to buy or renew their insurance policy. As most insurers can provide quotes up to 12 weeks in advance of a policy commencement date the effective audience for quotes is over 2.5 million uniques.
