Target new car buyers through Auto Trader’s exclusive Scrappage Hub.

Following our overview of the Government’s well marketed Scrappage Scheme in June’s e-newsletter, we would like to introduce you to our own comprehensive Scrappage Hub on autotrader.co.uk to give consumers a complete guide to the scheme including FAQs and the latest news and reviews.

Manufacturers have the opportunity to own an exclusive page within the Scrappage Hub where they can display all of their latest offers with links off to their own website. Over 4.6 million users* on autotrader.co.uk said they would be interested in participating in the Scrappage Scheme; thus ensuring advertisers are hitting a specific and engaged audience.

Consumers can read descriptions of a manufacturer’s total offering, reviews of the models on offer, request brochures and book test drives. Major marques Alfa Romeo, Hyundai, Vauxhall and Nissan already own pages and are seeing excellent click through rates.

For example, the Scrappage Hub saw a total of nearly 60,000** page impressions in one month alone, with a click through rate of 1%***.

From a multimedia perspective, advertisers also have the opportunity to book a full cover take over in Auto Trader magazine as well as a full page advertisement within the magazine.
